Mobile App for traders, exporters and importers about Customs Rules

New Delhi, Apr 30 (KNN) Mobile app ‘Indian Customs- Guide to Travellers’ has been launched by CBEC to inform international travellers who may, inter-alia, be traders/exporters/importers about Customs Baggage rules.

The mobile App has been developed by Bengaluru Customs. The app is available on Android Play store, Apple Store and Windows Store and serves as a ready reckoner of Customs Baggage Rules, 2016 and entitlements to International passengers, Minister of State for Finance, Jayant Sinha said in a written reply in Parliament.

It is user friendly and serves as a useful tool for quick and effective dissemination of information about baggage rules and entitlements and thus serves to clarify doubts and concern of International passengers and also ensure better compliance.
