'MSME at a Glance' booklet shared among BRICS delegates

New Delhi, July 9 (KNN) MSME Ministry took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to inform about the book on ‘MSME at a glance’ being distributed in BRICS.
 
“MSME AT A Glance: Booklet shared among BRICS delegates,” the ministry wrote.
 
The ministry also tweeted about the Coir Board and wrote, “Mobile Fibre Extraction Machine is a movable machine used for fibre extraction in situation where availability of coconut husk remains scattered and the setting up of a full-fledged decorticating unit is not viable.”
 
Mobile Fibre Extraction Machine can be taken to remote areas where husks are available for fiber extraction and it can move to another place after completing the process. It needs no permanent shed and can run by Diesel Engine or Electric Motor with an output of 600 husk/hour. The cost of the machine comes to Rs.2.50 lakhs, it said.
 
Further, the ministry, through the social media site, also informed that Kalraj Mishra, Union MSME Minister, reviewed implementation of various schemes of ARI Div including Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI) and A scheme for Promotion of Innovation, Rural Industry and Entrepreneurship (ASPIRE).
 
The minister highlighted the usefulness of the schemes in employment generation and entrepreneurship development and instructed all concerned that all out efforts should be made to ensure that the funds earmarked under these schemes for the current financial year are utilized timely and the targets set are achieved.
