Taiwanese delegation to visit India next week to develop business partnership

Mumbai, June 29 (KNN) With the view to develop business partnership between India and Taiwan, a business delegation comprising of 23 people including New Taipei City Industrial Association, New Taipei City Computer Association and reputed industry suppliers will visit India next week.

The delegation would be in India from July 5 to July 11 during which it will organize joint seminar with Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, Santacruz Electronics Export Processing Zone, Tamil Nadu Technology Development and Promotion Centre, aiming at increasing Taiwanese FDI in India in the coming future.

The New Taipei City has become one of the newest cabinet levels of municipality of Taiwan. The city has becomes a major business hub with advanced technologies, services and tourism.

“The city has been on a trade mission, stresses on the importance of raising global competitiveness by working closely on industrial, cultural, tourism, transportation and city developments in order to accommodate the global trend; transforming into an international city,” according to a notification.

The visiting delegation is keen to establish a joint cooperation platform and business partnership between India and Taiwan.

The chairmen of both - New Taipei City Industrial Association and New Taipei City Computer Association - are slated to sign memorandum of understanding with the Bombay Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Federation of IT Associations of India and Ambuttur Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association.

“The Make in India initiative and current Indian economic reform have attracted high interests from the New Taipei City entrepreneurs,” the notification said. (KNN Bureau)
