New Delhi, Mar 28 (KNN) ‘India is a complicated market to access’, says UK India Business Council (UKIBC) to its members, before preparing the British Companies to do business in India through its webinar in which it will tell them about the new Indian Companies Act, which came into force in March 2014.

“India is a complicated market to access, with significant regional, social, religious, linguistic, regulatory, legal, and commercial differences between and within its 29 states. Making sense of these is challenging for UK companies,” UKIBC said.

UKIBC is organising a webinar on April-4 in which the “PwC’s India experts will share their expertise and understanding of what UK companies doing business in India need to do in order to comply with the new Indian Companies Act, which came into force in March 2014”.

Head of Launchpad and Client Relations, UKIBC India, Tushar Chaudhary, will also speak about the market entry facilities and services that are available to UK companies attempting to break into the Indian market.

The Webinar will help the British companies in gaining expert advice on doing business in India; hearing an overview of India’s Companies Act and the changes associated; advice on how to make sure your company complies with the changes; an explanation of the new CSR aspect to Indian corporate law; and an opportunity to ask questions.  (KNN/SD)
