Kolkata, July 2 (KNN) The US-India Business Council (USIBC) has invited state chief minister Mamata Banerjee to pitch for investment, state Finance Minister Amit Mitra has said.
 
"The state has good business environment and tremendous opportunity for investment. We welcome you to visit USA along with your team," Mitra said on Wednesday, citing the USIBC letter to Banerjee.
 
The council is also keen to arrange for an investors' meet in US for Banerjee if she takes up the invitation. (KNN Bureau)
