When demand is low, even if industries are competitive exports cannot grow: Sitharaman

New Delhi, Sept 11 (KNN) Fall in demand in the global market is the reason for falling exports from India, Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said. She opined that when the demand is low, even if the industries are given incentives or they are competitive, exports cannot grow.
 
She said this while speaking to the media on the side-lines of a FIICI event on Thursday. (KNN/ Pramod)
