As GSTN plans to launch registration portal in Nov, GST Expert Bimal Jain interacts with MSMEs on implications (Watch Video)

New Delhi, Oct 15 (KNN) As the GST Network is all set to launch the registration portal for the registration of taxpayers such as traders, manufactures and service providers in November itself, industry experts are geared up to make industry ready to adopt GST.

Navin Kumar, chairman of GSTN yesterday said that from November itself the taxpayers can log in and fill in details like their place of business and other such information.

Keeping pace with the Government, industry bodies too are providing support to the MSMEs to understand the implications of GST and get prepared to accept it.

Bimal Jain, GST Expert, said GST will subsume many central as well as state taxes and do away with cascading of taxes and avoid double taxation.

He said GST will surely help fulfil PM’s vision of one nation- one tax.

The Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) in association with Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) is also conducting a study on “GST: Identifying implications and facilitating adoption by MSMEs”.
