The Centre will cater to sectors such as general engineering, heavy engineering and textile testing, serving MSMEs across Gaya, Aurangabad, Nawada, Nalanda, Jehanabad and Munger districts.
Advanced Manufacturing And Skill Development Hub
The Technology Centre will offer tooling and CNC machining services, CAD/CAM/CAE facilities, rapid prototyping, Industry 4.0 laboratories and renewable energy solutions.
It will also provide training programmes in emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Data Analytics, Automation, VLSI, Prototyping and Quality Control, along with sector-specific programmes in engineering and textiles.
Business advisory services covering market research, product design, automation, digital marketing, supply chain management, innovation and incubation will also be available to MSMEs.
Expected Economic Impact
According to the Ministry of MSME, the Centre is expected to train around 7,000 youth annually through industry-oriented short-term and long-term programmes.
It will also support more than 1,000 MSMEs every year through tooling and job-work services while helping bridge technology gaps and integrate local enterprises into national and global supply chains.
The Centre is expected to emerge as a key driver of industrialisation and entrepreneurship in the historic Magadh region, supporting employment generation and strengthening Bihar's manufacturing ecosystem.
