MSME Day 2026: Vice President Unveils Six Digital Platforms For Small Businesses

New Delhi, Jun 27 (KNN) Vice President C P Radhakrishnan on Saturday  launched a suite of digital platforms aimed at strengthening the MSME ecosystem in the country.

He presided over the MSME Day 2026 celebrations at Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi.

Addressing the gathering, the Vice President said MSMEs are the backbone of India's journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047, and urged entrepreneurs to embrace artificial intelligence as an opportunity for growth rather than a threat.

What Was Launched

The six platforms launched on the occasion cover the full breadth of MSME-facing government services.

The PMEGP 2.0 Portal digitises the lifecycle of beneficiaries under the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme, with integration into the Jan Samarth Portal enabling real-time information exchange with banks for loan processing and disbursement.

The Samadhaan 2.0 Portal is designed to track and report outstanding dues owed to MSMEs by central ministries, departments, central public sector enterprises and other government agencies, with mandatory monthly reporting built into the platform.

The Procurement and Marketing Support (PMS) 2.0 Portal connects micro and small enterprises with trade fairs and exhibitions, with end-to-end digital processing linked to Udyam Registration.

The MSME Global Mart 2.0 Portal is integrated with the Open Network for Digital Commerce ecosystem, enabling MSMEs to connect with business opportunities nationally and globally.

The MSME Testing Portal digitises testing activities at MSME Testing Centres across the country, allowing customers to book samples, make payments, track applications and download reports online.

Additionally, MSME Idea Hackathon 6.0 was announced under the MSME Champions Scheme, offering financial support of up to Rs 15 lakh per idea to promote innovation and technology adoption.

The Ministry of MSME, in collaboration with BHASHINI and the National Informatics Centre, has enabled multilingual and voice-based access to MSME portals in 22 scheduled Indian languages, along with AI-enabled voice grievance redressal and document translation facilities.
