2 day MSME workshop on virtual cluster

New Delhi, Jun 5 (KNN) With an aim to bring together all stakeholders in food processing industry through networking, the National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) is organising a two day MSME workshop on virtual cluster.

The free training programme is to be held on June 6 and 7, 2014 at NIESBUD campus in Noida.

It will provide the participants a platform to discuss opportunities of growth, value addition, boost in market share, conserve deployed resources, greater employment opportunities with sharing and exchange of experiences for better management, output, quality that counts, from each other’s views and information.

The workshop on virtual cluster portal will help them know the aspirations of registered units while answering their nagging questions by domain experts such as:   getting funds for from banks and without collateral security; how to ensure grow in business while remaining firmly placed in competition at market place; will cutting edge new technology be cost effective for business; how to tap ICT and use automation technology with innovations in operational processes.

Participants will also learn - how to have active faculty involvement and get good students as interns; where to for hand-holding support and e-learning; about 5-S, TQM, Lean manufacturing, and Six sigma and FPO/ AGMARK; accounting tools for effective operations and management of finances using Quick-books; use of soft tools like mini ERP in MSME by M/S Apollo Quality Management and Standards; direct interaction with banks and learning at Financial Literacy kiosks – on how to raise finance.

NIESBUD has an objective to evolve standardised materials and processes for selection, training support and sustenance of entrepreneurs, potential and existing. (KNN/ST)
