AP govt to set up Rs 100 cr fund in FY 2015-16 to revive sick MSMEs

Hyderabad, July 27 (KNN) Andhra Pradesh government will soon set up a Rs 100-crore fund this financial year to support the revival of sick Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the state.

The announcement was made under the new MSME policy which came into effect on Thursday.
 
The fund will be used for revival, employment generation, enhanced market linkages and disciplining the management of MSMEs in order to create a robust eco-system.

The Andhra Pradesh Government’s new (MSME Policy 2015-20 provides for a number of subsidies to strengthen the industries.
 
The policy targets to attract new investments to the tune of Rs 15,000 crore in the MSME sector and create an additional employment opportunity for three lakh people by 2020. (KNN Bureau)
