Entrepreneurship certificate course on crowdfunding

New Delhi, Aug 12 (KNN) The MSME-Technology Development Centre, Agra is organising a certificate course on crowdfunding for entrepreneurs looking for opportunities on funding and financial support.
The two day training programme is scheduled to be held on August 30 and 31, at Noida.
Entrepreneurs of any age group can participate in the session with a payment of Rs 10000, according to a press notification.
The course content will cover topics such as fundamentals of crowdfunding, effective storytelling that inspires backers, perfecting the pitch video, secrets to gaining media attention, creating an effective social media strategy, a strategy and management for success and types of funding models.
Crowdfunding has become a popular practice for fund raising from a large number of people towards common individuals like entrepreneurs. Social media can be used to reach out to people interested in the Crowdfunding.
Recently, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has proposed the concept of crowdfunding for collection of funds through web-based platforms and social networking sites.
Some qualified investors, to be accredited, will be allowed to take part in crowdfunding, as per the board proposal. These investors would include institutional investors, companies, high networth individuals and financially-secure retail investors. (KNN/ST)
