Bengaluru, Dec 2 (KNN)  With a view to motivating students to become future entrepreneurs, a conference titled 'Creating Future Entrepreneurs' will be held here. Emphasis would also be given to 'Make in India' as well as improving ease of doing business.

Organised by REVA University in association with KASSIA, the event will be held at the Kuvempu Auditorium of the University on December-4, according to an official release.

“The objective of the conference is to ignite the spirit of entrepreneurship in the minds of young graduates. The conference would feature experienced entrepreneurs from diverse background as key speakers who will help in teaching key entrepreneurial concepts and practices and motivating students to become future entrepreneurs,” said President, KASSIA, VK Dikshit and Chancellor, REVA University, Dr P Shyama Raju at a press meeting today. 

Above all, the conference has been designed to help aspiring PG students who have ideas for new ventures but do not know where to start.

The event will feature 12 eminent speakers from the industry who will interact with participants over four sessions.

During the event, participants will learn how entrepreneurship begins with a business idea and how the success of an entrepreneur will depend on how well the idea is executed and built upon.

“Of course, success doesn't come instantly and many times ideas are abandoned due to challenges and initial failures. However, there is a class of entrepreneurs that emerges triumphant against all odds,” the organisers said.

What is it that actually makes ideas click and entrepreneurs successful? What are the various qualities that successful entrepreneurs should possess? Which are the different sources where funding is available, are questions the conference will deliberate upon.

Some of the conference themes are - Journey of Entrepreneurs; Ease of doing business; Access and Sources of funding; followed by a Mentoring Session- One to One with Students

The conference will also provide an introduction to the experience of being an entrepreneur. It is grounded in the belief that the capabilities of entrepreneurship will be critical to every manager´s future career. 

Upon its completion, students should be able to recognize the fundamental features of the entrepreneurial mindset, behaviors and skills, and understand the central role of creativity, idea generation and observation in identifying, sources of funding and developing entrepreneurial opportunities, and above all analyzing the implementation and execution.  (KNN Bureau)
