New Delhi, Jun 18 (KNN) Union Minister for MSME Kalraj Mishra has called a meeting of different industry associations representing the micro, small and medium enterprises , here on June 26 to discuss various problems being faced by the sector and receive their suggestions.

“We will hear their complaints, problems, suggestions- which will help in making the policy also”, Mishra told reporters here yesterday at a CII function.

He said there is no separate policy for the MSME sector. “Looking at the problems of the entrepreneurs I and my ministry feel that there should be separate policy for MSME.  This way, he said, “Lot of problems can be solved by making separate policy for MSME”.

He said the focus of the new government is to simplify things. “We are thinking of doing it in an integrated way, in the near future things will emerge before you.”

He said the NDA Government would also be giving priority to skill development. This is the best way to eradicate poverty. The aim should be to involve people at the grass root level in the economic development. (KNN Bureau)
