RBI holds interactive session with women entrepreneurs in Belgaum

Belgaum, June 15 (KNN) A two day training program has been organized today to train bank officials regarding MSME loans on how to empower startups and existing entrepreneurs by RBI Bangalore in Belgaum.

Priya Vandana Puranik, State Secretary of Laghu Udyog Bharti has been invited as a women entrepreneur.

Talking to KNN India, Puranik said, "We had a very interactive and excellent meeting today."

She said, during the program bankers were taught customer handling techniques and importance of good conduct while handling customers.

She said that the experts advised the bankers to lend the required loan on the full completion of documents. They stressed on the need to maintain cordial relations with customers and also directed them to facilitate startups and entrepreneurs, this way Prime Minister Narendra Modi Make in India mission will be accomplished.

Also promoting women entrepreneurship, RBI Bangalore, syndicate bank and DIC of Belgaum organized an interactive session with the women entrepreneurs yesterday.

Many women entrepreneurs were introduced during the program and Zila Panchayat CEO R Ramchandraji visited stalls of these entrepreneurs and appreciated their work.

He also directed the concerned authorities to facilitate women in marketing through organizing exhibitions.

Puranik said that during an interaction, ZP CEO encouraged women and their work and also directed banks to facilitate them in terms of providing loans.
