TN offers entrepreneurship skill development programme

Coimbatore, Nov 13 (KNN)  To address skill gaps in the industry, the Tamil Nadu government  has organised an entrepreneurship skill development program that would enable candidates to start micro and small enterprises.

To select candidates for the six week training programme, the MSME Development Institute will conduct an industrial motivation campaign on November-18.

Candidates who have completed schooling are eligible to apply on submission of a proposal to start a micro or small enterprise.

On successful completion of the training, candidates will be offered credit facilities under various government schemes.

In this regard, the state government is inviting proposals from different sections of people to provide them training. They will be recommended for getting credit facilities under various government schemes.

MSME DI is the apex body for formulating small scale industry policies in the country.  It implements promotional activities through its country wide network of MSME Dis, field testing stations, prototype development centres and tool rooms.

It assists existing and prospective entrepreneurs by providing techno-managerial consultancy services and training in various areas.  (KNN/ST)
