Amit Shah Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stones for Projects Worth Rs 620 Crore in Gandhinagar
New Delhi, May 18 (KNN) Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various civic and infrastructure projects worth Rs 620 crore undertaken by the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation in Gujarat.
The projects are related to multiple civic and infrastructure works aimed at improving public amenities and urban infrastructure in Gandhinagar.
Addressing the gathering, Shah said the development journey initiated in Gujarat under Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his tenure as Chief Minister continues across the state.
He said the Gujarat government and the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation have undertaken several initiatives focused on urban development and public welfare.
Shah also highlighted the role of party workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, stating that they assisted people with hospital access, testing and vaccination support during the crisis.
The Home Minister said several railway, civic and infrastructure projects are being implemented across the country as part of ongoing development initiatives.
He added that the contribution of grassroots-level workers remains important in maintaining public outreach and implementation of welfare initiatives.
