Anti-Dumping Duty imposed on 93 products, 40 more cases on radar: Sitharaman

New Delhi, Aug 10 (KNN) In a bid to protect the domestic market, the Directorate General of Anti-Dumping and Allied duties (DGAD) has imposed anti-dumping duty on over 93 products from China, Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman informed Rajya Sabha.

The Minister informed that the product import from china belong to the different categories including chemicals and petrochemicals.

Also the list of products include steel, fibres, yarn machinery items, rubber, plastic products, electric and electronic items, consumer goods

The Minister further informed that 40 more cases concerning imports from China have been initiated by the Directorate General of Anti-Dumping and Allied duties. (KNN/ DA)
