Bharat Tex–Première Vision Pact To Boost MSME Access To European Markets: Giriraj Singh

New Delhi, Jul 16 (KNN) The Bharat Tex Trade Federation (BTTF) and Première Vision SA have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) to strengthen textile and apparel trade between India and the European Union.

The partnership is aimed at expanding global opportunities for Indian manufacturers, exporters and designers, while enhancing engagement with international brands and buyers.

Focus on Innovation, Sustainability and Design

The collaboration will promote innovation, sustainability, design excellence and global sourcing across the textile value chain. It is expected to help Indian firms—particularly micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and first-time exporters—connect with leading European buyers and fashion houses.

Union Minister of Textiles, Giriraj Singh said, “This partnership… will help Indian MSMEs, first-time exporters and manufacturers connect with leading European buyers, while showcasing India's strengths as a reliable, innovative and sustainable sourcing destination. It also reinforces India's growing role as a trusted partner in the global textile value chain.”

Access to Global Platforms and Buyers

A key feature of the agreement is reciprocal participation between Bharat Tex and Première Vision’s flagship event, PV Paris—one of the world’s leading textile and fashion sourcing exhibitions. The platform brings together global manufacturers, designers, brands and sourcing professionals, offering opportunities for business engagement and trend exchange.

Through this collaboration, Indian companies will gain exposure to international markets by showcasing textiles, apparel, accessories and sustainable materials. At the same time, global buyers will gain deeper access to India’s integrated textile ecosystem.

Strengthening India’s Global Position

Textiles Secretary Neelam Shami Rao said the partnership reflects India’s growing role in the global textile industry.

“The world is choosing to partner with India. Bharat Tex collaborating with Première Vision is creating a structured platform to connect Indian enterprise with international markets, design leadership and emerging global trends,” Rao added.
