CAIT demands govt to sever trade & other ties with Pakistan; calls Delhi trade bandh on Feb 18

New Delhi, Feb 16 (KNN) In the wake of the Pulwama terror attack which has shaken the country, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has demanded that the Central government should sever trade and other relations with Pakistan.

Condemning the attack on CRPF soldiers at Pulwama, the traders’ body has called for Delhi Trade Bandh on Monday, i.e. February18, 2019.

It said “All wholesale and retail markets of Delhi shall remain closed and no business activity will took place.”

It has also urged the Prime Minister to declare three day mourning and to sever all ties and trade relations with Pakistan.

National Secretary General of CAIT, Praveen Khandelwal said that like other citizens, the trading community across the country is highly stunned with this cowardly attack of Pakistani militants and to demonstrate solidarity with the country and the family of the martyrs, it has called for a Trade Bandh.
