Chennai, Apr 18 (KNN) A certified training course on Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emission Inventory is being organized in Chennai from May 1-3, 2019 here, to raise awareness on quantification and reporting of GHG emissions and removal.

Organized by CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development, a pioneering effort by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), works to create a conducive, enabling climate for Indian businesses to pursue sustainability goals.

The three day non-residential course will be covering the development of GHG emission inventory, development of GHG reduction projects and their validation/verification as per ISO 14064:2006 (Part 1, 2 & 3).

The training would also include sessions on Carbon Neutrality (as per PAS 2060:2014), Taskforce on Climate related Financial Disclosures, Science Based Targets, Internal Carbon Pricing and Climate Change updates globally.

The training is aimed at a varied audience including MSMEs and energy managers, carbon verifiers, and consultants.
