CMIA organizing seminar on Compliance Management on Sept 2 at Marathwada Auto Cluster

Aurangabad, Aug 30 (KNN) In order to create awareness about the ‘Compliance Management’ and the process to track them on regular basis, Chamber of Marathwda Industries And Agriculture (CMIA) is conducting a seminar on the topic ‘Compliance – Own It, Live It and Do It’.

The seminar will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Marathwda Auto Cluster (MAC), Aurangabad.

The program has been designed for Top Management Personnel like CEOs, CFOs, Directors, Occupiers and Departmental Heads like HR / CR / Finance Managers

The organizers said keeping in view the lack of sufficient focus on the statutory & legal compliance that are mandatory the seminar is being conducted which would also help in creating awareness.

“Failure to comply with these requirements is likely to create trouble for the business including prosecution of the Directors. The Government is gradually concentrating and tightening the systems to identify the non-compliant,” CMIA said.

Pallavi Gokhale and Mahim Chaturvedi who are Partners at Ernst & Young, a globally recognized management consulting firm, one amongst the top four auditing firms, and CMIA’s privileged knowledge partners, will share their knowledge on the subject. A presentation on software to track the compliances will also be done during the session.

There are many laws applicable to the business organization. "Ignorance of law is not an excuse" and hence one needs to comply with existing rules and regulations of applicable laws and legislation to avoid the penal and long term consequences to generate transparency.

Due Compliance will ensure long term sustainability and Longevity.

The program is aimed at providing fundamental essentials about important statutory compliances including - Tax Laws Compliances; Company Law Compliances;  Labour Laws Compliances;  Environmental Laws Compliances; RBI & FEMA Compliances; and Other Economical & Financial Compliances.
