New Delhi, Sept 7 (KNN) For systematic monitoring and effective resolution of all foreign trade related issues, Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has set up established “Contact@DGFT” service as single point contact.

DGFT has asked all the importers and exporters not to send their queries through twitter or email and use Contact@DGFT instead.

In a communication to all Regional Authorities, trade bodies, EPCs, Commodity Boards, DGFT has inform that the Contact@DGFT service has been activated at the DGFT website as a single point contact for resolving all foreign trade related issues.

“Exporters/ Importers are requested to use this facility for resolution of foreign trade related issues either directly concerning DGFT (headquarters or regional offices) or concerning other agencies of the Central or State Governments,” DGFT said.

DGFT has assured to make best efforts for expeditious resolution of issues which are directly related to the DGFT and the issues concerning other agencies will be taken up by DGFT on behalf of exporters/ importers with the agencies concerned.

A reference number will be issued for each request so that the status of the action taken can be tracked. DGFT said effective monitoring arrangements have been made. (KNN Bureau)
