New Delhi, Feb 2 (KNN) E-way bill that was to be made mandatory from February has been postponed due to technical glitches, government informed.

The officials GST handle of the government in a tweet said “In view of difficulties faced by the trade in generating e-way bill due to initial tech glitches, it has been decided to extend the trial phase for generation of e-way bill, both for inter and intra-State movement of goods. It shall be made compulsory from a date to be announced”.

For now, the trial period of the E-Way bill is to continue, the notification from the government informed. (KNN/ DA)
