French Software Co. Dassault Systemes to facilitate Digitization of Indian Manufacturing SMEs
New Delhi, June 10 (KNN) The French Multinational Software firm Dassault Systemes recently expressed its interest in extending Digital services to the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Manufacturing sector in India.
The Managing Director of Dassault Systemes operations in India, Samson Khaou in a press interview said that the Indian Manufacturing Sector is undergoing a digital reform. However this reform is not taking place at a very good pace. His company intends to address this gap.
The Company will be extending customized Software and IT services for the Indian manufacturing firms.
Also the Company recently organized an event with the Indian firms exploring ways to go digital. It further demonstrated its Global 3D software that provided the Indian Entrepreneurs with an insight of the potential of digital transformation possibilities in the sector.
The MD further said that the first step essential for the sector at present is to compete by taking over the traditional manufacturing operations by offering clients with more agile, flexible, scalable manufacturing processes.
Khao added that the present age calls for ‘Smart Manufacturing’ which the Software firms intends to facilitate. This also falls in line with the Prime Minister’s flagship project Digital India. (KNN/DA)
