IIT Kanpur launches NIRMAN accelerator program to support agri & healthcare startups

Kanpur, July 25 (KNN) The Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre of IIT Kanpur has launched the NIRMAN Accelerator Program to help manufacturing startups grow.

Under this program, 15 startups will be invited from manufacturing start-ups and innovators engaged in healthcare and agriculture domains. The best performing start-ups among the 15 startups will receive a grant of up to Rs 10 lakh.

Speaking at the program launch, Prof. Amitabha Bandyopadhyay, Professor-in-Charge, Innovation and Incubation, IIT Kanpur, said, "We are in urgent need of innovators and startups working in the healthcare and agriculture domains to cater to some of the pertinent developmental challenges to uplift the status of manufacturing in India."

"NIRMAN Accelerator program comes with massive potential to harness and capitalise on start-ups working in the field," he said.

The program will also offer knowledge workshops, one-on-one mentoring support, diving deep for customised support for clinical validation, and business and investor connect.

The six-month-long program will be divided into four segments, namely, ‘principles of product growth’, ‘engineering acceleration’, ‘navigating the compliance puzzle’, and ‘leading to next-stage growth."  (KNN Bureau)

    Our company provides a platform to worker,who is not capable to expand their work. we will try to unite every experienced worker in one unit.it is very easy to work because worker can easily register himself on our website and customer who is required any building construction related material and man power they can easily contact them in their local area.
