New Delhi, August 5 (KNN) The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MOSPI) through its Central Statistics Office is conducting a workshop on Index of Industrial Production (IIP).

The main of the workshop is to educate the various stakeholders on the new concepts and parameters introduced by the organization with regard to computation of IIP.

The Workshop will be held on 30^th August at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. The registration for the workshop can be done by visiting the Ministry’s official webpage before 18^th August.

No fee is being charged for the program.

Index Of Industrial Production (IIP) is a key macro-economic indicator for assessing the performance of the industrial sector. It is mainly used by different stakeholders including Industry, Research Organizations, institutes etc. (KNN/ DA)
