Paytm Mall launches Point-of-Sale solution for retail stores; to help shopkeepers manage store inventory on cloud

New Delhi, May 3 (KNN) Paytm Mall has announced launch of its Point-of-Sale (PoS) solution for retail stores in order to make the platform more promising for the retailers.

With the PoS solution, the company claimed that the shopkeepers can now manage their store inventory on the cloud with complete visibility on the available or required stock, view their sales, manage pending orders, instant customer billing or payments, create or execute offers and exclusive promotions.

Along with the launch of POS, the retailers will be charged a monthly fee of Rs 3000 which is not being charged by the Paytm Mall so far.

Also, Paytm Mall has signed a strategic partnership with Asus India to form a tie up to provide solutions at Taiwan-based laptop and mobile manufacturer’s retail stores.

On sharing views over this partnership, Amit Sinha, COO, Paytm Mall said “We don’t partner with brands with an aim to just sell their products online.”

Our aim is to provide a complete solution to further drive online-to-offline (O2O) model and besides Asus we plan to have similar tie-ups with other brands in the future, he added.

The company’s initiative is to provide online or digital platform to buyers by simplifying the norms and procedures for both retailers and buyers. (KNN/YV)
