Interface Ventures, MEDC Collaborate To Streamline Capital Acquisition For Maharashtra MSMEs

Mumbai, May 1 (KNN) In a move aimed at bolstering small business growth across Maharashtra, Interface Ventures and the Maharashtra Economic Development Council (MEDC) have entered into a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The collaboration seeks to address a critical hurdle faced by many of MEDC's Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) members – accessing growth capital to fund expansion and innovation.

Interface Ventures will leverage its fundraising platform, investor networks and advisory services to assist these businesses in raising funds more effectively.

Services offered through the partnership include assistance with investor pitches, capital raising campaigns, initial public offering guidance, financial modelling, valuation advisory and more.

The overarching goal is to significantly improve fundraising success rates for MEDC's MSME members and drive economic progress across the state.

“Raising capital is one of the biggest obstacles for small businesses looking to scale operations,” said Interface Ventures founder Karan Desai.

“We are excited to facilitate MEDC's members by streamlining the fundraising process through our user-friendly platform and expert guidance,” Desai added.

Under the MoU, MEDC will facilitate connections between Interface Ventures and interested members to explore available services and investment opportunities.

MEDC President Atul Shirodkar welcomed the collaboration, citing it as an important step toward nurturing entrepreneurship and economic development in Maharashtra. "By tapping into Interface Ventures' fundraising solutions, our members will gain a competitive edge in securing growth funds to foster innovation and sustained business growth," he stated.
