Ludhiana, Sept 18 (KNN) Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) in association with the District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises, Govt. of Punjab organized one day Job Fair at CICU Focal Point, Ludhiana.

Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) mentioned that industry is facing manpower shortage, to fulfil the demand of manpower. Job Fair helps the uneducated and unemployed youths of rural areas as well as from the other areas to get employment as per industrial requirement and assist in the eradication of social evil amongst them.

More than 47 companies have participated with high requirements of Manpower like  Welder, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, CNC Operator, Electrician, MMV & Diesel Mechanic, Computer Operator, Documentation Assistant for Logistic Sector, Consignment Tracking Executive for Logistic Sector, Assistant Accountant  using Tally Erp.9 etc.

Navdeep Singh, Deputy CEO and their entire Team from the District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises made efforts for arranging the candidates from the State of Punjab. He mentioned that Approx. 3461 candidates visited and 3254 were selected by the Companies.
