Jammu, Sep 11 (KNN) Abrogation of Article 370 was the biggest achievement of Narendra Modi government in its first hundred days of second term and its will help in the industrial growth, employment generation and bettering healthcare system in the state, said Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Ministry of Development of North-Eastern Region.

Listing the bold initiatives taken by the Government in last 100 days in a press conference at Jammu, he said that government has taken some significant decisions for making India a $5 trillion economy and large scale investments in infrastructure and social sector are being encouraged to realise this dream.

He also spoke in detail about the reduction of physical interference and transparency in GST and IT return filing process.

He said that the government has tried to uplift marginalized sections and create a level playing field by providing an income support of Rs.6000 to every farmer and extended Pension Schemes to laborers, small traders and farmers.
