Advantage Maha Expo to get biz opportunities for MSMEs: MASSIA

Aurangabad, Jan 3 (KNN) State-level industrial expo is being organized by the Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (MASSIA) in the city from January 5-8, 2017. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the event.

Balaji Shinde, President, MASSIA, told KNN that several eminent industry leaders will be taking part in the Advatage Maharashtra Expo 2017.

He also said that efforts will be made to get business opportunities for maximum number of participating MSMEs.

“We are focusing on sectors concerning MSMEs. We have invited around 100 big companies and will try to have business for every MSME,” said Shinde.

He said the Expo will especially be beneficial for auto component industries.

“We will try to prove the myths wrong that we don’t have advancement in the field of auto industry. We are ready to export to 80 countries,” said Shinde.

According to him Expo has added ‘Advantage’ to its name in a view to attract the companies because MSMEs need the business urgently in the wake of slowdown.

According to the MASSIA president, 325 stalls will be set up in the Expo by the MSMEs.

Energy conservation, engineering, women entrepreneurship and agro and food processing are the identified themes for conferences. Industry leaders and experts from respective fields will guide participants on the latest trends during these events.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the event, while Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar will preside over the valedictory ceremony. A B Gaike, one of the organizers said that industries minister Subhash Desai and energy minister Chandrashekar Bawankule have also consented for the event. (KNN/RAS)
