Bari Brahmana Industries Association elects Lalit Mahajan as its new President

Jammu, May 22 (KNN) Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) has elected Lalit Mahajan as their President for the term 2017-19.

The Election of BBIA was held on May 20, 2017 at BBIA Bhawan in the presence of the Election Commissioners Taranjit Singh Sahni, Atul Modi and Ram Langer.

The total votes casted in the Election were 236 out of which Mahajan bagged 168 votes.

The Election was conducted in peaceful & cordial atmosphere.

BBIA has been actively raising concerns of the MSME entrepreneurs from the region with the policy makers. The association has also been successfully leading delegations to different countries to boost business environment in the state.

Recently, in the wake of GST implementation from July 1, 2017, BBIA has been meeting different Ministers from the Centre and State to get incentives for the entrepreneurs in the land locked state of J&K. (KNN Bureau)
