BBIA discusses problems of unit holders regarding land posession of J&K SIDCO allotted lands
Srinagar, Oct 23 (KNN) Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) discussed the problem being faced by MSMEs in getting posession of the land allotted by J&K SIDCO in Balol Industrial Estate and sought Governor's intervention.
''J & K Sidco has taken up the matter with the Deputy Commissioner Samba on 13-08-2016 for the preparation of revenue documents of 200 Kanal of land along the Balol Nallah but allotted a huge chunk of 522 Kanal of State Land since 2017 onward for the reason best known to the officials of the corporation, In-spite of the facts that Land was not in their possession and in some cases the lease deeds have been executed in Samba court by the Estate Office Bari Brahmana by showing the Land in their possession as per the site Plans enclosed with the Lease Deed Documents duly registered in the Samba Court,'' BBIA said in a press release.
''It is a matter of great concern that in some cases J&K Sidco has taken the full premium of Land and advance rent of two years for the Land which is not yet in the possession of the Corporation and in such cases now the Estate Office of the J&K Sidco Bari Brahmana shown their helpless for the handing over the possession of the land due to non-availability of the land documents resulting the uncertainty prevails in the mind of the of buddy unemployed youths of our State who have invested their hard Earned Money or Borrowed the Loans for the setting up of their Units and paying the huge amount as Interest to Banks and running Pillar to Post to get the matter resolve,'' the release added.
The MSMEs have appealed Governor Satya Pal Malik to intervene into the matter to resolve the issue on priority basis for the handing over the land to the unit holders for the setting up of their Units with the directions to Managing Director, J&K Sidco to pay the Interest on the amount collected from the unit holders for the land which is not yet handed over to them.
The meeting also saw Tarun Singla, Sr. Vice President, Ajay Langer Vice President, Viraaj Malhotra General Secretary, Rajesh Jain Secretary, Vivek Singhal Treasurer of BBIA.
