BBIA hails J&K industrial policy 2021-30

Jammu, Apr 22 (KNN) The Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) has extended its gratitude to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha for announcing new Industrial Policy 2021-30 for Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).

A meeting of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) was held on Tuesday under the presidentship of Lalit Mahajan to discuss the Jammu & Kashmir Industrial Policy 2021-30 along with Procedural Guidelines & Land Policy.

Members present in the meeting conveyed their heartiest thanks to Manoj Sinha, Lt. Governor of J&K UT and other officials concerned.

''Jammu & Kashmir Industrial Policy 2021-30 will provide instant relief to the existing industrial sector suffering very badly post GST regime and after the abolishing of Toll Tax w.e.f 1-1-2020 which includes incentives as subsidy on DG Set, exemption of Stamp Duty & Court fees, Subsidy on procurement of quality certificate, subsidy on the automation, subsidy on Pollution Control equipment, Green & Environment Protection incentives, Turnover incentives, SGST incentive, sanction of incentives under J&K package, marketing support, Entrepreneur & Skill Development Fund, Incentives from Govt. of India to the Existing Industrial Units of JK UT for which the requisite government orders shall be issued by the industry department as well as finance department,'' said BBIA.

They also urged the Lt. Governor to invite stakeholders for their valuable suggestions before the issuance of requisite government orders for the simplification of procedure for the timely release of incentives.
