Biz Bridge 2017 - Engineering and Manufacturing Summit to kick off for MSMEs in Howrah

New Delhi, Nov 10 (KNN) Eyeing at facilitating push to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of the region, Biz Bridge 2017 Engineering & Manufacturing Exhibition-cum Buyer Seller Meet' is being organized at Dumurjala Stadium in Howrah.

The prime focus of the summit is to bring the different stakeholders including industry, market etc. on a platform in order to strengthen ties.

The event is being organized by the industry body Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and kicks off from 15^th to 18^th of November.

CII in a press statement informed about the upcoming summit.  

It said that the event comes as a response to provide the much needed boost to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Howrah that was once known as the Sheffield of the East.

It further said that the program is expected to witness huge participation from across the sectors. Also it is likely to bring in positive results in terms of enhancement of products as well as market networks.

At present, the district of Howrah specializes in different sectors including manufacturing ships, rail locomotive and industrial furnaces.  Also there is a good share of MSMEs operating in agro-business as well as chemical based products. (KNN/ DA)
