BSSIA invites suggestions of industries on fixing the problem of potholes on Mumbai roads

Mumbai, July 27 (KNN) With the onset of heavy rains in Mumbai, many potholes (or craters) have come up on the roads disturbing the day to day life of daily commuters including employees, workers, transporters. To address this problem, the Bombay Small Scale Industries Association (BSSIA) has invited suggestions from industries, common man for repairing potholes (or craters) on roads.

Apprising about the matter, President of BSSIA, Bankim D Mistry told KNN India, “These potholes cause hindrances in daily life of people including employees, customers, service providers and many more.”

Not only commuting and transportation gets affected because of these potholes but traffic jams and vehicle failures are common on roads.

Fuel consumption is increase and so is pollution, he mentioned requesting everyone to come up with the ideas on how to fill these potholes on Mumbai roads.

He said “BSSIA seeks inputs from everyone that are more efficient, durable, cost effective, easy and fast as on ‘How to repair Mumbai road potholes?’”.

Sharing one of the solution ideas to fix this problem, Mistry said “Using Cement Concrete with admixtures for fast setting is one such solution.”
