Constitute fair price fixation committee for fixing the collector rate of HSVP plots: Haryana CM

Chandigarh, July 13 (KNN) The Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal directed to constitute a fair price fixation committee for fixing the collector rate of all plots of residential, industrial or any other category of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) which are lying vacant in its different Urban Estates.

Manohar Lal who is also the chairman of HSVP was presiding over the meeting of Pradhikaran.

Appraising the Haryana Chief Minister decision, General Secretary of Manesar Industrial Welfare Association (MIWA) Manmohan Gaind said “Forming a panel for fair price fixation is a great step.”

However, Gaind was quick to warn the Panel for the risks in regard to price fixation saying that, “They should be reviewing the prices of different areas every quarter and fix them because property prices have become fluid. It should be such that people should not break any law and the execution should be made easier for them.”

Manohar Lal himself advised that collector rates of all properties of HSVP in the State should be revised through the concerned Deputy Commissioners after every six months. This, he said would be “the base value of the property.”

Gaind lamented about the situation using Manesar as an example, “Prices of various properties are fluctuating quite frequently and so there should be a review every quarter and the rates should be fixed accordingly. For example, in Manesar the price of the government is much higher than the prices at which the plots are bought and sold. Henceforth, it becomes extremely difficult to comply with both the State Government laws as well as with the Income Tax.” (KNN/K)
