Budgam, May 21 (KNN) To review the monitoring of different central and state sector schemes during 2018-19, District Development Commissioner, Budgam Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar held a meeting with officers and officials of Social Welfare, ICPS, Handicrafts, and Handloom Department.

While speaking on the occasion DC Budgam stressed on conducting exhibitions/fairs and awareness generation on quality of Kashmiri handicrafts especially Kani Shawls, Buyer-Seller meets and showcasing of products of training centres.

Achievements under the Integrated Child Protection Scheme were discussed along with Handloom and Handicrafts departments. Assistant Director, Handloom and Handicrafts presented the department wise progress and issues.

Schemes of Aasra, NFCH, RMV, WoD, the functioning of children homes also come up in the meeting under review.
