DIC Sonipat holds Exporters Conclave

New Delhi, Sept 28 (KNN) An Exporters Conclave was organised by District Industries Centre (DIC) in Sonipat on Saturday, 25th September 2021 to brief exporters about new policies and also capture feedback from them.

During the occasion senior officials from relevant departments including from DGFT, ECGC, Industries Department Haryana Government, SIDBI, CONCOR, MSME DI Karnal gave presentations pertaining to new policy chamges and incentives for exporters and other industries.

Exclusively speaking to KNN, Rakesh Chabra, Chief Executive, Rai Industries and & Vice President FISME present at the event said, “The Exporters Conclave was insightful and a knowledgeable programme. Such events in the industry must take place frequently to stay abreast of the recent changes and trends”.

DC Sonipat delivered the opening remarks. Addressing the concerns about need of repairs of roads to Delhi he mentioned that the work for patches had already started but the work for roads would  start in the first week of October.

Haryana as a state seems to be doing well. According to IBEF, Merchandise exports from Haryana reached US$ 12.06 billion in FY20 and US$ 11.60 billion in FY21.

Further, according to the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), cumulative Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflows in Haryana stood at US$ 1.7 billion in FY21 and were US$ 2.42 billion between October 2019 and March 2021.
