ECGC-EEPC holds awareness program for MSMEs in Jalandar

New Delhi, Jan 1 (KNN) Eying at facilitating information among the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) of the region, Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC) along with Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) held an awareness program recently in Jalandhar.

The prime focus of the program was to promote ECGC Insurance Policies and also inform about the EEPC upcoming events.

Ajay Goswami, Convener, All India Hand Tools panel in his keynote address appreciated the role of innovative ECGC policies in shielding the interest of exporting enterprises.  He further stressed the need of participation of Indian industries in international exhibitions for fetching exports orders.

Also, Neeraj Bhalla, Assistant General Manager, SIDBI who was present during the event informed the participating MSMEs regarding the financing and credit norms available for the sector.

Dedicated interactive session regarding the new taxation and its implication was also facilitated during the event.

The participants were also informed about the upcoming Indee Thailand Event (1-4 Feb) and IESS VII (8-10 March) to be organised by Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. (KNN/MG)
