First online khadi selling centre launched in Haryana

New Delhi, Nov 2 (KNN) On the occasion of Haryana Day, Industries and Commerce Minister Vipul Goel launched the state’s first online Khadi selling centre in Panchkula.

The Minister also launched brand Har Khadi and its logo.

Speaking on the ocassion, Goel said that Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board would complete its 50 years in February 2019.

Appreciating their efforts, he said that the board will also organise Khadi Fashion Melas in 2019  to promote khadi and make khadi products easily available to people.

Haryana government is also taking special steps in the direction of promotion of khadi and cleanliness, he further added.

Adding to the statement,  Goel said that such Khadi selling stores would be opened at the district level and also outside the state.

Goel also assured chairperson of Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board, Gargi Kakkar on her demand to arrange an adequate budget to promote Khadi production.
