Global investors' summit to boost business in Madhya Pradesh

New Delhi, Oct 1 (KNN) With an aim to showcase the strengths and the industrial prowess of the state and to attract investors, the Madhya Pradesh government is organising a global investors summit from October 8 to 10 in Indore.

The fourth edition of the summit will provide a global platform for interaction with Indian industry leaders, heads of states, policy makers, investors and stakeholders, said an official release.

The event will focus on various sectors like agri-business and food processing, automobile and engineering, healthcare, industrial infrastructure, IT/ITeS, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, technical education and skill development, textiles, tourism and urban development.

There will also be a MSME convention to cover topics such as credit flow to MSMEs, warehousing and logistic hubs, nation building seminars, cluster development, organic, IPR, promoting entrepreneurship, skill development, women entrepreneurs and investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.

The three-day event will also feature sessions by different countries including Canada, Czech Republic, Mexico, Peru, Australia, Malaysia, Spain and South Africa.

Owing to its rich soil and several rivers and large irrigation projects, Madhya Pradesh is a thriving destination for agriculture and food processing business. The state’s mineral wealth and skilled manpower enables setting up of heavy engineering companies.  (KNN/ST)
