Bhubaneswar, Aug 6 (KNN) The single window portal for Investor Facilitation and Tracking (Go Swift) of Odisha Government has been acknowledged as the best practice by the Central Government.

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade that comes under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has advised to evaluate Go Swift, a single-window system of Odisha for a prototype with appropriate modifications.

To make the business easier in the State, Go Swift was launched in 2017, which is the only of its kind portal. To set up a new industrial unit, any interested investor can avail all the necessary information related to the project. Appropriate incentives and clearances required can be obtained by an interactive tool called Info-Wizard.

This platform provides the facility for online approval from the single window authority and also the allotment of land from Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO). The industrial units can avail payments, apply, track the status of their applications are given and obtain approvals for 32 Government to business (G2B) services from 15 State Government departments.
