New Delhi, Jan 9 (KNN) The rates of crude oil in the international market have already come down and Indian Government is providing benefits to the consumers. However the rates of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) have yet to go down.

The Industries get the supply of CNG and PNG to burn their waste product which helps to protect the environment from harmful gases. But the industry demands to cut down in the rates of CNG and PNG to get the benefit.

The President of Sahibabad Industries Association (SIA) Dinesh Mittal in an exclusive talk with KNN requested Government to slash the rates of CNG and PNG.

The Resident welfare association (RWA) of Ghaziabad has put the allegations against the industries that they do not use CNG and PNG to burn their waste products which leads to the Air pollution in the city.

The rates of CNG and PNG have come down to 2/3 but these gases are still being sold at the rate of Rs. 48 per cubic meter, said Dinesh Mittal.

He alleged that Government do not listen to us and just generating high profits.

He also said that Government do not pass the excise and Value added tax (VAT) benefits to us.

He agreed that Industries get the supply of CNG and PNG but do not pursue it due to the high rates of the gases.  (KNN Bureau)
