Measurement Major ZEISS Launches 6th Quality Excellence Centre In India In Gujarat

Gandhinagar, Apr 8 (KNN) ZEISS, a leading provider of measurement solutions, has inaugurated its first Quality Excellence Centre (QEC) in Gujarat, marking the company's sixth such facility in India.

This strategic expansion reinforces ZEISS's commitment to supporting India's growing manufacturing sector by providing advanced quality assurance solutions and technical expertise closer to key industrial hubs.

Gujarat has established itself as a significant manufacturing centre, hosting thriving automotive, electric vehicle, medical, and engineering industries.

The establishment of this new ZEISS Quality Excellence Centre comes at a crucial time when the 'Make in India' initiative is gaining momentum and demand for high-precision manufacturing capabilities is increasing across the region.

Aveen Padmaprabha, Head - Industrial Quality Solutions, ZEISS India Pvt. Ltd. noted that the centre’s impact would extend across multiple sectors, stating, "Every measurement and analysis conducted here will have a far-reaching impact across industries such as Automotive, Medical, Electronics, and Electric Vehicles (EV).”

He mentioned, “We aim to pursue excellence at every level for our customers, from the smallest detail to their most ambitious goal."

The newly opened facility is equipped with ZEISS's latest technology including coordinate measuring machines, optical 3D scanners, and surface measurement systems.

It will offer comprehensive services including product demonstrations, training sessions, application support, and consultation to help manufacturers optimize inspection workflows and maintain strict quality standards.

This Quality Excellence Centre represents part of ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions' broader strategy to expand services throughout India, ensuring customers have convenient access to cutting-edge metrology technology and expertise.

The expansion builds upon successful centres already established in other industrial locations across the country, strengthening ZEISS's position as a trusted partner in industrial quality assurance.

Through this new facility, ZEISS India's Industrial Quality Solutions division aims to empower manufacturers in Gujarat and beyond with precision measurement solutions that foster innovation, reliability, and efficiency in mass production.
