New Delhi, Jan 28 (KNN)  The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (HSIIDC) is planning to establish a hotel in the industrial estate of Karnal to service the units and residents of the area.
 
In this context HSIIDC has called for bids from eligible parties to build the hotel according to specifications provided.
 
To be built on the demarcated building zone, the hotel will have three level basements to house parking facilities, generator room, lift room firefighting pumps, water storage, electric sub-station, air conditioning plants and toilets, adhering to public health requirements.
 
The hotel will have to be properly landscaped and include public health facilities.
 
As far as external walls are concerned, the finish should be in natural or permanent type of materials like bricks, stone, concrete, terracotta, grits, marble, chips, glass metals, etc.
 
Also, the water storage tanks and plumbing works should not be visible on any face of the building and shall be suitably encased.
 
All sign boards and names should be written on the spaces provided on buildings as per approved buildings plans specifically for this purpose and at no other places, whatsoever.
 
Fire safety measures should be properly adhered to in the multi storeyed buildings which would be duly fitted with standby generators, fire alarms lifts and ramps in addition to the staircase.
 
To conserve water, roof top rain water harvesting shall also be adopted and solar water heating system should be provided as per the guidelines issued.  (KNN/ES)
