Industries to uplift employment potential in the state: Haryana CM

Chandigarh, July 20 (KNN) Preference should be given to the youth registered on the Saksham portal for employment, said Manohar Lal Khattar, Haryana Chief Minister while motivating the industries to participate in the skill development program of the State Government.

Khattar was interacting with the industry partners of the government’s Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU) at the Apparel House.

Saksham is a State Government portal where unemployed youth seeking for job opportunities upload their information.

“This will help in employing the youth of the state. A message should go out that the registration on the portal carries significance and all others who are left out should also register themselves,” said Khattar.

“Each year nearly two lakh job seekers are being added in the portal but the government can provide jobs to 40 thousand to 50 thousand seekers. Left youth have to be adjusted in industries," he added.

On the subject of cooperation provided by the state government to the industries, Khattar said, “We are incentivising the industrial units set up in Zone C and D that which are employing the youth of Haryana. For a span of three years, the state government is paying Rs. 3,000 per candidate”.

Preference should be given to the youth registered on the Saksham portal for employment, said Manohar Lal Khattar, Haryana Chief Minister while motivating the industries to participate in the skill development program of the State Government.
