Jharkhand government to sponsor travel expenses of MSME representatives taking part in trade fairs

New Delhi, Feb 11 (KNN) Travel expenses of the representatives from the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) going out of the state or abroad to take part in trade fairs, entrepreneurship conference and workshops will be sponsored by the Jharkhand government.

This step is taken in order to promote entrepreneurs from Jharkhand.

Moreover, the Centre will also bear the cost of putting up stalls of the state entrepreneurs at business fairs and exhibitions both in domestic and international circuits.

Centre has sanctioned funds up to Rs 2.50 lakh for setting up stalls in foreign soil for business events.

Regional Director of MSME Development Institute, P K Gupta said, “The purpose behind government’s move to support to MSMEs is to give fillip to the efforts of the local entrepreneurs willing to explore new avenues for expanding their businesses.”

According to the provisions of the international cooperation scheme, under which the Centre is promoting the entrepreneurs, a 10-member business delegation can travel to any part of the country twice a year for the business events and the cost of putting up promotional stall will be taken care of by the government.
