Jharkhand govt willing to increase subsidy for MSMEs to 40%: CM Soren

Ranchi, May 10 (KNN) Chief Minister Hemant Soren said on Tuesday that to promote MSME industry in Jharkhand, the state government is ready to work to increase the subsidy for MSME entrepreneurs to 40 per cent.

Currently the state government provides a 25 per cent subsidy to entrepreneurs to promote industrial units.

Addressing the closing ceremony of the “14th India International Mega Trade Fair”, he emphasised on promoting MSME industry in the state.

The fair was organized under the aegis of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and GS Marketing at Morhabadi ground.

The CM said that our government has done the work of formulating an excellent industrial policy.

“Today many big and small corporate houses have expressed their desire to invest here. Recently, a large corporate sector has laid the foundation stone for setting up an industrial unit in Jamshedpur,” he said.

The Chief Minister said that the state government will stand with the Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce in every possible way regarding industrial investment in the state.

On this occasion, Secretary to Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey, President of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce Kishor Mantri and all the members and a large number of entrepreneurs were present.  (KNN Bureau)
